100 Best Jokes for Kids

I never thought I would say this, but I am becoming an expert in the “jokes for kids” department. I originally wrote this post when my oldest son was 5 years old. I was spending a surprising amount of time searching for new funny jokes, and then telling them back and forth with the kids. My then three year old never repeated them back the correct way, which makes them even funnier.

The fact that my kids loves jokes so much and I am constantly having to search for them inspired me to just make my own list of our favorite jokes. But of course, it has to be the ultimate list of the best silly jokes for kids. Some of these are corny jokes, but that’s what makes them fun, right? So, here you go! Be prepared for a good laugh.

Before we get to the list of family-friendly jokes, I have to show you this bird that tells jokes.

Right before Kai turned six, he was really into birds. He has always loved all animals, but birds were the obsession. He wanted a real parrot for his birthday, but…no. I told him this FurReal pet is the closest thing to a real bird he’s going to get while he’s living with me. So why is this related to a list of jokes? Well, Squakers (Kai named him, of course) tells jokes. And they are really good jokes. I’ll list a few below. So if you have a kid like mine who loves animals and jokes, this is the perfect gift for them.

This Bird’s Got Jokes (better than Dad Jokes!) – Here’s a few of them:
