9th Grade Spelling Words

Learning to spell is usually associated with elementary school. However, upper grades at the high school level use spelling words to provide an opportunity for students to develop the use of academic vocabulary words. 9th grade words will be trickier simply because they focus on words that break the typical spelling rules that your child has learned in earlier years. Try using different 9th grade spelling words from a different word list with each weekly lesson. This will help expand your kids’ familiarity with words and success with spelling tests.

Oh and hey, you’re doing a great job, before you know it, it will be 10th grade!
